In line with its commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, the College established the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in accordance with the visionary guidelines of the College Principal. This initiative aligns with the national mission spearheaded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to strengthen and streamline the innovation and start-up ecosystem within Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).
To address emerging challenges in innovation and entrepreneurship, MHRD has constituted the MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC) at the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Innovation Cell, in collaboration with AICTE, is actively implementing flagship national programmes such as Smart India Hackathon, National Student Start-up Policy, Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA), and the establishment of Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs) across HEIs, thereby nurturing creativity, problem-solving skills, and entrepreneurial mindset among students.
